Video and bike fit
I hate videos on web sites. But more and more sites have them so I finally decided to go out and buy a video camera. The occasion was that Paul Swift of Bike Fit systems was going to spend a few days here and I wanted to put together a very simple video instructing people on a basic bike fit.
We spent three days going over his entire program and at the end did just that. Here is the link to the page on the site http://www.neuvationcycling.com/bikefit.html Click on the link about two inches down on the page.
While Paul was here we fitted 7 people, myself included. All of these were riders with experience. The range was from the new National Junior Road Champion to, well, me. Everyone thought that they had done their homework and already had a pretty good fit. Almost everyone benefited greatly for Paul’s professional fit. When you have the time and budget I strongly urge you to get fit with a good professional bike fitter. It will make you a lot more comfortable on the bike.
Since I bought the camera i also did a quick video of the carbon frame. Click on the link about half way down the page http://www.neuvationcycling.com/product122.html
One of the things that I found out while doing these is there is really professional video editing software that is relatively inexpensive (about $150) that will turn pretty basic video into pretty good quality videos. Look for more of these on my site. All products will eventually have videos associated with them. It’s a better way to really show products than still images.
