Compression tights
Tuesday, January 13th, 2009OK. So it’s been awhile since I did a post. There always seems to be something else that needs to get done but I promise to try to be more diligent about posting.
One of the new hot things on the Pro Tour is compression tights. Riders use them for recovery after riding. I did a little research and found that lots of pro athletes use them. The claimed benefits are better performance, quicker recovery and less wear and tear on the body.
I have been using them for about a month and they sure seem to work. They are not cheap (about $100) and need to be replaced about every 6 months or so if you use them a lot but if they mean I can reduce wear and tear they are well worth it.
I got mine from www.backcountry.com and purchased this brand.
