The frame comes with Neuvation F100 carbon fork with alloy steerer, Cane Creek Integrated Headset, Neuvation alloy aero seat post (27.2X350), alloy seat clamp (34.8), and replaceable drop out.  BB is 68 mm English. Weight for 54 CM frame is about 1200 grams.  Completely hand built using custom hydroformed and extruded 7000 series alloy tubing.  They are smooth tig welded by master welders.  Alignment is checked and finely tuned on every frame.  Quality is comparable to custom frame shop quality.

Craftsmanship:  F100’s are hand built.  I did a lot of homework searching for the very best factory in Taiwan.  It’s a very low production level factory that focuses on quality.  Look at the extremely high quality smooth welding.  There is no sanding involved.  The average welder in the factory has been welding bikes for 10 years.  They use the same types of jigs and set ups that custom builders do.  There are no short cuts.  The bike company that I believe makes the best bikes currently available (that is not a claim I make) uses them and claims their production quality is the equal of anything they can get in North America.  Almost all other bike companies sub contract their alloy welding.  Not this factory. I pay a big premium for this frame but to me it’s worth it.

Fit:  If a bike doesn’t fit you, it’s not a good bike.  No matter how much or little it costs.  How is it possible to make bikes that fit better when you don’t know who’s going to be buying it?  It is possible by keeping the seat tube and head tube parallel so that the reach varies with the frame size.  Please go to the bike fit and geometry area for more info.  It’s probably the single most important issue on a bike.

Neuvation bikes can be customized during and after the sale.  If you want to switch out stems, saddles, and handlebars to get a better fit there is no charge except for shipping.

Price:  Just like the wheels, I buy direct from the factory and sell to consumers cutting out all of the middle men offering one of the best deals you can find anywhere.

Because I offer exchanges on stems, saddles, and handlebars, it’s possible to dial in the fit (you may want to do this with a professional fitter).  I don’t believe there is a better overall value to be found anywhere.

Weight:  The F100 frame weighs about 1200 grams (54 cm).  That’s about what most carbon frames weigh.

Stiffness:  Most people would look at an alloy bike and think  it’s going to be a bone shaker.  That’s not true if it’s built right.  The F100 has a feel more akin to a nice titanium bike.  How is this possible?  It’s the tubing.  I use custom extruded and hydroformed 7000 series alloy tubing.  Hydroforming allows for varying shapes and wall thickness not possible with normal extrusions.  The target, which I believe I have met, is to have a bike that responds well to a sprint but also gives you a smooth ride (although everyone else makes this claim too, so I hate putting it in).

Durability:  This is also a part of the whole concept of craftsmanship but the 7000 series alloys have proven to be extremely strong and durable and will put up with years of high mileage use.

Aerodynamics:  The F100 is one of the most aerodynamic bikes you will find.  The tall and thin downtube hides from the wind and encloses the derailleur cables.  The head tube is a special hydroformed tube made to be as narrow as possible.  The top tubes oval shape also slips through the side winds.  I have opted for a round seat tube so that it’s possible to angle the saddle to the side instead of just making it only possible to be in the plane of the bike (some bike fits require this).  Recently aerodynamics has gotten a lot more attention because it really does make you go faster and on this frame there is no weight or price penalty.
