The M28 Aero wheels are the go to wheel when you are llooking for strong wheelsthat are still pretty light.  The front wheel uses 16 spokes that are forged from Sandvick stainless 2.3 mm wire resulting in an aerodynamic design that is also extremely strong.  The front hubs are forged and cnc machined before being anodized.  The anodizing provides a durable and good looking finish.  Two Abec 5 level, low contact seal, Japanese cartridge bearings are press fit into the shell. The axle has two raised bosses that engage inner race of the bearings allowing for the elimination of bearing preload.  This simple and elegant design also means there is no bearing preload when you tighten the skewer. The 480 gram 27 mm deep V rim is both durable and still relatively lightweight.  It is a sleeved construction that uses an internal, radially curved sleeve that is both glued and pinned into position.  The braking surfaces are cnc machined for better braking. As with all Neuvation wheels these are hand-built by master builders using both dial indicator run out gauges and tensiometers to adjust tension.   Rim: Deep V 27 mm rim 19 mm wide 480 grams. 20H rear. CNC machined braking surface for smoother braking. New for 2008 is a stronger 6066 alloy Stainless Aero Pillar 4.3 spokes (made from Sandvic wire) with brass chrome plated nipples. Front hub 100 grams. uses two R6 precision, Abec 5 level, low contact seal  cartridge bearings 760 grams (weight without quick release skewers) Includes skewer (57 grams) Without rim tape - I suggest using the Velox cloth 16 mm tape 700C clincher . As with all Neuvation wheels, 100% hand built.
