Fast race and training wheels.  The 50 mm deep carbon US made rim is 575 grams.  The alloy tire bed adds extra durability (and weight) making them a good choice for someone who wants the ease of clinchers but the aerodynamic affect of the 38 mm rims.  Much less likely to crack than the full carbon wheels.

  • Rim: 50 mm carbon tubular rim 575 grams. 20H front
  • Stainless Sapim CX Ray aero bladed spokes  with alloy nipples.
  • Front hub 100 grams. uses two R6 precision cartridge bearings
  • 775 grams (weight without quick releases)
  • With quick release skewer (57 grams each).
  • 700C clincher.

Unlike full carbon wheels standard brake pads can be used on these since they have an alloy braking surface.
