I buy this frame from one of the best frame makers in Taiwan.  They focus on small production lots of high quality frames.  They make a similar frame for one of the best brands in the world that was recently used on the Pro Tour.

The frame is 1380 grams and is welded from. 7000 series hydroformed aluminum tubes.  Click on the images above to get bigger images and notice the quality of the welding.  These have not been sanded.  You are looking at raw finished welds.

The average welder has been there 10 years and welds all day, every day so that you get some of the best quality welding available anywhere..

Hydroforming is a relatively new process for bicycle tubing.  In the past you could get double or triple butting tubing but hydroforming allows them even more options for wall thickness.  Using very high pressure oil they can shape the tubing pretty much any way they want.  Because of this it's now possible to get much better ride characteristics.

This frame is both very stiff laterally (for better performance) and very compliant.  It rides more like a titanium bike (very smooth) and is, in fact, more compliant than our carbon FC100 frame.

It's really hard for most people to really understand that you are getting a frame that is very close to Pro Tour level at this price but that is exactly what you are getting.  High qualy, high performance and a smooth ride.

I couldn't have said it better myself  .....

"When I first got the F100 with Dura Ace it was relegated to my rollers due to snowy roads. Boy am I glad the roads have cleared - this bike is fast and fun. It makes me want to ride and it handles all kinds of terrain beautifully. Did I mention that it's fast? Even compared to my much more expensive Kestrel I have to change my riding habits because when I stomp on the pedals this thing moves! John and his crew have been a pleasure to deal with and practically bend over backwards to make sure you get what you want - even when you don't know what that is! I can't say enough about this bike and neither can my teammates. If you want to spend money to show off the name on the frame feel free. If you want to get an amazing deal on a great bike with the service to back it up then go with Neuvation."
